On 30 March 2020, the fully booked event of the German Cannabis Business Association e.V. (BvCW) took place at the Haus der Land- und Ernährungswirtschaft in Berlin. Moderated by BvCW Managing Director Jürgen Neumeyer, around 200 participants – almost half of them from politics – were offered keynote speeches by Prof Dr Christian Ulrichs (Humboldt University of Berlin, Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences), BvCW President Dr Stefan Meyer and the BvCW department coordinators Lisa Haag, Dr Armin Prasch, Dirk Heitepriem and Benjamin Patock. The hemp-based buffet was very well received by the guests and – accompanied by hemp beer and other drinks – there was plenty of time for networking and in-depth discussions.

We were very pleased with the high level of interest from politics, administration and friendly associations in all topics relating to cannabis. The exchange with many of our company representatives was generally welcomed as fruitful, informative and groundbreaking. Old contacts were deepened and many new ones established over a tasting that included hemp.
